IGNOU Admission Status July 2024 – The students who have submitted the online application for admission to the most recent session of IGNOU Admission July 2024 should check their IGNOU Admission Status to see whether their application is approved or rejected by the university. Moreover, the students who are already approved students and registered for the next year or semester can find their IGNOU Re-Registration Status for July 2024 from here. After registering themselves in IGNOU for a particular program, candidates have to check whether their admission or re-registration status is updated or not. IGNOU Admission Status 2024: Highlights
The candidates who have successfully submitted the online admission form for July 2024 can check their IGNOU Admission Status to confirm their admission to IGNOU. All candidates have to fill out their application form for IGNOU Admission in the selected program offered by the University and everyone has to provide all required details of her/his and also his/her qualifications with scanned documents to the university. If every detail provided by the candidate is written without any mistakes then the application will be approved by IGNOU but an application with incorrect information and incomplete details will be rejected by IGNOU University or the students will be communicated to remove the discrepancy.
IGNOU Control Number
If you are a new student in IGNOU or want to take admission to IGNOU then it is natural that you don’t know about the control number so here is an answer to it. Control Number is an automatically generated 11 digit unique code that is sent to IGNOU students after the successful payment of admission fees at the IGNOU Online Admission portal. It is proof that IGNOU Head Office has received your online application for a particular program. Candidates can use this number to communicate with IGNOU for any grievance or query regarding admission.
IGNOU Enrollment Number
IGNOU enrollment number is now changed from 9 digits to 10 digits and the system is also upgraded to find their admission or registration status for July 2024 and January 2024 sessions. The new change affected the new students only who were admitted on or after Jan 2020 session while old session candidates prior to Jan 2020 session will able to check everything through their 9-digit enrollment number.
IGNOU Admission Status By Username and Password
IGNOU Open Distance Learning Admission Status page is now updated by the university for July 2024 session candidates. Now, candidates who take a an admission in IGNOU as a fresh candidates can check their admission status without entering their 11 digit control number. If you’ve applied through the online admission portal of the university then you have to follow the given steps to check your application status.
Apart from ODL, IGNOU has also started the admissions for Online programs so if you took admission to IGNOU in any of their online programs in the session July 2024 then you may check the status of your application from the following link to see whether your application is approved by the university. You will also see the status for any discrepancy found in your application to correct the same online to re-submit the form for approval.

IGNOU Admission Status By Enrollment Number
If you are a registered and approved candidate of IGNOU University and have your enrollment number ready then you can find your IGNOU Registration details by following the below link. The below link will help you to get the complete details of your registration including your academic details, personal details, selected courses, study centre, regional centre, and important links to check your performance of your program in IGNOU.
Follow or go to this link and enter your 9 or 10 digits enrollment number, select your program, enter the verification code displayed on the screen, and then click on submit to get your admission status.
How To Check IGNOU Admission Status 2024?
- First, Click on the admission status link and then go to the page of IGNOU online admission page.
- Here, Enter your registered username and password to login to the admission portal.
- Now, Click on the My Application tab to go to the page. Here, you will get to know all about your application to IGNOU.
- If it is showing as “Fresh Application” then it means that your application is in progress and will be verified soon.
- If it is showing as “Admission Confirmed” then your documents are verified by IGNOU and the application is now successfully approved.
- If it is showing as “Discrepancy” then you should remove and update the affected document again to verify your document for approval
- If it is showing as “Cancelled” then your request to cancel the IGNOU Admission Application is approved with the date of cancellation.
So If your admission is approved and confirmed then you can start your study with IGNOU. You can use your enrollment number for the exam, online hall ticket, result, grade card, etc. If the verification of your documents is running then you can check your status after a few days. Earlier, the candidates had to enter the control number to get the status of their online application form. After submission of the control number, the student gets their status on the screen.
Important Note – Due to the thousands of online applications at every session, the confirmation of admission for the session July 2024 may take a longer time than expected. IGNOU students are requested to keep some patience and check their admission status regularly to know the status of their online application.

I paid my course fee for PGJMC on27 th January 2022 and uploaded all my certificates. I got a confirmation mail but later I started receiving messages that I need to pay my fee and today I checked my admission status which showed that I have to upload my certificates and fee .so again I paid the fee.but no confirmation this time.
