Mandatory DEB ID for IGNOU Admission 2026

As per the directions of the University Grants Commission (UGC), creating a DEB ID is mandatory for admission to any of the ODL or Online Programmes offered by IGNOU. The DEB ID is a unique number and needs to be created only once.

• First, create your ABC ID by visiting https://deb.ugc.ac.in/StudentDEBId.
• After obtaining your ABC ID, use it to create your DEB ID by following the instructions on the same portal.
• Ensure you provide your correct email and mobile number during the DEB ID creation process.
• Important: Keep your DEB ID ready at the time of filling out your online application for admission. The application will be processed only after validation of your DEB ID.

IGNOU PGDHHM Eligibility Criteria 2026

• Completed Graduation in Medicine recognized by respective councils.
• Completed Post Graduation or Graduation in Pharmacy, Nursing, or any health care system with a minimum of 2 years working experience in a hospital with at least 100 beds.
• Completed Post Graduation or Graduation in any stream with minium 5 years of working experience in a hospital with at least 100 beds.
