IGNOU Migration Certificate Procedure & Fees – Migration Certificate is needed when students want to migrate from one state to another state of the same country. Many of the candidates want to migrate to another state to complete their studies as well as education at their preferred and interested university.

Migration Certificate is issued by IGNOU University when the students want to leave their current institution and want to get admission to another university for further study. At the time of getting a migration certificate from IGNOU, candidates have to certify that he/she has not enrolled with any other university/Institution after passing out from IGNOU up to this date.
How to Apply for the IGNOU Migration Certificate?
Candidates have to first download the given application form and fill it with the correct details because if any information is found to be incorrect then the Certificate shall be liable for cancellation by the University.

At the time of submission of the application for the issue of a Migration Certificate to your regional centre, the applicant should attach a duly attested Xerox copy of the consolidated Statement of Marks and the Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate issued by IGNOU University. It should be submitted only to IGNOU Regional Centre in which the student was last allotted.
Instructions to Fill IGNOU Migration Certificate Form
The procedure to fill out the migration certificate form is simpler in that you have to enter your personal details including the name of the candidate, address, and details of the last examination. Candidates have to enter all the details of the last examination covering enrollment number, program, passing year, marks earned, the grade earned, and details of regional and study centre.

Candidates have to mention the details of the university to which he or she wants to migrate for further studies. The details of the demand draft should be mentioned on the application as well.
After verifying all the details written in the Migration Certificate Application Form, the student can submit this application with a copy of their provisional marksheet and certificate to the regional centre of IGNOU at where they completed the said program.

Candidates who want to get a migration certificate from IGNOU have to pay Rs. 500 by Demand Draft in favor of IGNOU and payable at the city of the Regional Centre concerned.

If a student has lost a migration certificate or destroyed or mutilated then a duplicate migration certificate can be re-issued with the payment of Rs. 500 on submission of an Affidavit drawn upon a non-judicial stamp paper the value of Rs.10/- to be sworn in before a Magistrate.
